Job Overview

As a Field Operations Technician, you will be responsible for executing essential technical tasks at various client locations, ensuring the seamless operation of network and hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct travel to perform cabling and hardware installations at client sites, data centers, and telecommunication facilities.
  • Carry out site assessments to evaluate infrastructure needs.
  • Install and configure network, server, and wireless equipment along with the necessary cabling.
  • Deliver on-site technical support to a diverse clientele.
  • Assist with remote technical support and troubleshooting for hardware issues.
  • Engage in network infrastructure cabling and data center patching tasks.
  • Be part of an on-call rotation to provide round-the-clock support across the country.

Field Operations Duties

  • Oversee the coordination of cabling and hardware installation projects.
  • Survey client locations to assess WiFi coverage and connectivity.
  • Diagnose and resolve circuit connection problems.
  • Support on-site operations during off-hours as required.
  • Execute hardware upgrades and re-cabling as necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians to plan and manage workload effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements for ticket resolution and site deployment.

  • Highly organized and self-driven individual.
