Position Overview

The IT Identity Access Specialist is crucial to the organization, undertaking various responsibilities related to the information technology sector. This role primarily serves as the main point of contact for users across the organization seeking technical support for access management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and oversee user accounts, manage shared resources, and handle group memberships within a Microsoft Active Directory network environment.
  • Administer user accounts in the Google Apps Enterprise portal.
  • Manage AS400/Client Access user accounts.
  • Respond to incoming calls and voicemails in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Utilize the helpdesk electronic ticketing system, Track-It, following departmental guidelines for the opening, closing, resolution, escalation, and tracking of user requests.
  • Collaborate with other team members regarding requests, issues, updates, and solutions.
  • Adhere to escalation procedures for situations requiring involvement from an Access Administration Supervisor or Manager.
  • Inform the Access Administration Manager or Supervisor of any changes within IT that may necessitate escalation, major outages, server issues, significant relocations, or staffing concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree from a technical institution or similar technical training, along with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in data entry-related roles.
  • Demonstrated strong data entry skills with proven speed and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
  • Capable of organizing and managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service within a collaborative team setting.
  • Able to read and interpret general business and technological publications, procedures, and journals.
  • Competent in writing procedure manuals.
  • Ethical, with a strong commitment to company values.
