The Position

As a Baking Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable scientific applications tailored to the baking sector. You will provide high-level technical support throughout the new product development process and assist in the technical validation of prioritized regional sales initiatives.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting controlled baking experiments in a laboratory environment to design, implement, and assess our product offerings under various conditions.
  • Offering daily, hands-on support in the baking laboratory to meet the Application Development Manager's requirements with expertise and efficiency.
  • Delivering innovative and effective technical assistance for our clients and projects.
  • Collaborating closely with Research & Development, Marketing, and Sales teams to provide technical insights for industrial applications, thereby fostering growth and exploring new opportunities.
  • Actively participating as a member of a global team of baking professionals.
About You
  • Practical baking experience from the US baking, baking ingredient, or flour milling sectors is essential.
  • Professionals with relevant practical experience or education in baking will be considered.
  • Experience with enzymes is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A degree in Food Technology or related fields pertinent to baking is preferred.
  • Ideally, 2-5 years of experience in the baking industry.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A creative mindset, innovation, and a passion for baking.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • An outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills is essential.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time for work-related assignments across the USA and Canada.
