  • Seasons and prepares meals according to established recipes or personal expertise.
  • Handles baking tasks as required.
  • Tastes and tests dishes to confirm they are cooked properly.
  • Prepares fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding as necessary.
  • Carves and portions meats for both hot and cold service.
  • Cleans dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans either manually or using dishwashing equipment.
  • Ensures kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils are kept in good condition.
  • Organizes and stores clean dishes, utensils, and cooking tools appropriately.
  • Sorts and disposes of waste, placing it in designated collection areas.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience of a few months to one year in a related role.
