Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Civil Engineering Specialist, you will be expected to:
  • Take charge of complex assignments, utilizing judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of standard engineering methods and practices.
  • Make informed decisions regarding critical design and engineering processes as necessary.
  • Act as a technical expert or project leader on mid-sized projects as required.
  • Oversee and guide a small team of professionals and technicians as needed.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, though degrees in Mechanical, Environmental, or General Engineering will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design, including design calculations, specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.
  • Proficiency in CAD and/or BIM software.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team to achieve task completion.
  • Self-driven with excellent communication and organizational skills.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $71,000 to $101,955.00 annually, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
