Key Responsibilities- Lead the integration of solutions to address multiple regulatory requirements and certifying agencies
- Manage a team to ensure daily regulatory compliance
- Perform regular performance assessments and manage regulatory compliance audits
- Maintain effective recordkeeping and coordinate leadership reporting
- Serve as the Laser Safety Officer and SHC Hospital Safety Officer
- Conduct TJC EOC/Life Safety regulatory compliance programs for SHC, LPCH, and Clinics
- Lead during survey activity audits and serve as the hospital interface for The Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care (EOC)
- Generate quarterly reports, annual evaluations, and management plans as the EOC Safety Committee Chair
- Develop hospital-wide safety plans, analyze risks, and address incidents as the hospital Safety Officer
- Manage the Hazardous & Medical Waste and Waste Water & Storm Drain programs
- Manage the Life/Fire Safety Program, including the emergency evacuation program, equipment, and training
- Strong knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Experience with regulatory compliance audits and recordkeeping
- Strong organizational and time management skills
This is a fully on-site position in a healthcare environment, with a business formal dress code. The office is located approximately five miles from the hospital, and the team size ranges from 25-35 employees.
