Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Operations Activation to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and activation of new medical centers, ambulatory sites, and other projects of strategic significance for UCI Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful planning and activation of new medical centers, ambulatory sites, and other projects of strategic significance for UCI Health.
  • Guide the alignment and coordination between interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Establish and maintain strong matrixed relationships with system stakeholders and project partners across departments of UCI Health.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, process improvement, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of business planning, analysis, budgeting, and feasibility studies.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Results-driven and able to drive quantifiable results.
  • Good team leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with structured change management methodologies and project management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
