Controller Job Description

KBW Financial is seeking a highly skilled Controller to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work with a reputable non-profit organization and contribute to their financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial mismanagement.
  • Manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements, analysis, and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Assist with budgeting processes, including budget-to-actual analysis.
  • Oversee grants accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with program leaders to ensure financial alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage investment reporting, providing insights to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • More than three years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Good systems skills, with experience in financial software and systems.

Compensation: Up to $110,000 plus benefits.
