Position Overview
As a vital member of our team, the Client Manager plays a crucial role in supporting our producers and internal staff, focusing on both the retention of current clients and the acquisition of new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the workflow of the service team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for producers and clients, providing expert guidance on insurance matters.
  • Manage the renewal process to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
  • Engage in marketing efforts for new business, collaborating closely with producers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners to facilitate business growth.
  • Prepare and issue necessary documentation to support client needs.
  • Assist with additional accounts as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  • Contribute to a culture of employee ownership by participating in agency and carrier events.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the insurance marketplace, including carriers and underwriting practices, to effectively address client issues.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Business/Commercial Lines Insurance customer service.
  • A current role as a Client Manager or similar position.
  • A strong understanding of insurance markets and coverages.
  • CIC designation or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with AMS360 is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to motivate team members.
  • A willingness to obtain a Minnesota Property and Casualty insurance license upon hire.
