About the Role:
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Electronic Warfare (EW) Electronic Support (ES) Systems Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and cost-effective EW solutions to support the Advanced Airborne RF (AARF) business area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine requirements for products or systems based on customer information and provide traceability to these requirements.
- Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
- Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.
- Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program to ensure all areas have the complete information appropriate to their activity.
- Ensure all requirement changes are assessed for impact to the overall system and subsystems and that implemented changes are tracked and controlled.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of professional experience.
- Experience with systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).
- Active and transferable Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules.
- Technical team leadership experience of minimum of three engineers.
- Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.
