Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Warfare Systems Engineer to join our team in Goleta, California. As a key member of our Advanced Airborne RF Systems Engineering department, you will play a critical role in the development of our Electronic Warfare Systems product line.

Key Responsibilities

Determine product or system requirements based on customer information and provide traceability to these requirements.

Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.

Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.

Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program to ensure all areas have the complete information appropriate to their activity.

Ensure all requirement changes are assessed for impact to the overall system and subsystems and that implemented changes are tracked and controlled.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior systems engineering experience.

Experience with systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules.

Technical team leadership experience of minimum of three engineers.

Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).

Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities.

Experience with security requirements related to government testing.
