Job Summary:
Oxenham Group is seeking an experienced Sr System Engineer to support project work in the defense space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering and experience with electro-mechanical systems.

About the Role:
As a Sr System Engineer, you will provide systems engineering support for the design, development, integration, testing, and verification of highly complex electro-mechanical systems. You will also interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to create specifications for components and subsystems.

Responsibilities:
• Provide systems engineering support for the design, development, integration, testing, and verification of electro-mechanical systems.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to create specifications for components and subsystems.
• Define hardware and software interfaces between various subsystems.
• Develop, test, analyze, and document turret fire control algorithms.
• Build linear and nonlinear dynamic models and simulations to assess system performance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Support lab and field testing of systems and components.
• Generate technical documentation including plans and reports.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Control Systems and Signal Processing.
• 5 to 10 years of industry experience in systems engineering.
• Strong understanding of classical and modern control system design principles.
• Proficiency in signal processing and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience working with the hardware and software components of electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink for simulation and modeling tasks.
• Familiarity with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Motivation and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work with U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
