Electrical Warfare Systems Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Warfare Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Advanced Airborne RF Systems Engineering department, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our Electronic Warfare Systems product line.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine the requirements for our products and systems based on customer input and provide clear traceability to these requirements.
- Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
- Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.
- Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program to ensure all areas have the complete information appropriate to their activity.
- Assess the impact of requirement changes on the overall system and subsystems and track and control implemented changes.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior systems engineering experience.
- Experience with systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs.
- Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules.
- Technical team leadership experience of minimum of three engineers.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).
- Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities.
- Experience with security requirements related to government testing.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.

Security Clearance
This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website.
Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $142,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
