About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Specialist to join our team at Upbring. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to children, assisting classroom teachers with lesson planning, and creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Support: Provide individual and group instructional support to children, as assigned by the classroom teacher.
  • Lesson Planning: Assist classroom teachers with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate instruction, ensuring alignment with the Texas Education Code and Casa Gracia NC performance standards.
  • Classroom Environment: Create and maintain a positive learning environment, promoting social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development in children.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff members to ensure program operations support and meet program goals and objectives.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with classroom teachers, administrative staff, and children, ensuring a quality learning experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma; associate degree in education or a relevant field preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in an educational setting, preferably with children.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish, based on service population and area.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement early childhood curriculum, manage the classroom, and work well under pressure.
