Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Pediatric CVICU RN, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions to address patient needs.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the healthcare team, providing accurate and timely updates.
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- 1-2 years of Pediatric CVICU RN experience.
- CVICU RN experience.
