About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deal Jacket Compliance Specialist to join our team at ComplyAuto. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of our automated deal jacket review tool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and address discrepancies or missing information in deal documentation, ensuring all errors are corrected before final feedback to clients.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and legal teams to address any issues related to deal jackets and ensure a smooth process.
  • Prepare audit reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular feedback to management and relevant teams regarding common errors or compliance gaps.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to deal jacket processes and audit procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Assist in training sales and client success teams on proper documentation and deal compliance procedures.
  • Conduct follow-up with clients to ensure their understanding of our product and maintain a strong relationship with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, legal, finance, or compliance role
  • Demonstrated experience auditing deal jackets in the automotive industry
  • Willingness to travel on an occasional basis up to 5% of the time
  • Proven ability to maintain client relationships
  • Strong accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities without errors
  • Ability to communicate legal/compliance issues in lay-person terms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong ability to work with computers, software applications, and modern technology tools
  • Ability to meet regular attendance expectations and meet tight deliverables deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and successfully interact with people at all management and support levels, within and outside the organization
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence stakeholders along with keen attention to detail
