Compliance Specialist Intern Opportunity

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a highly motivated Compliance Specialist Intern to join our Credit Compliance and Strategic Initiatives team. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with dedicated individuals to ensure quality assurance while implementing regulatory change.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate pre-implementation testing of the Small Business Lending Data Collection Rule (Section 1071) across the Zions Bancorp footprint
  • Participate in staff training, including development and coordination of training efforts for 1071
  • Develop implementation efficiencies related to quality assurance and testing of the 1071 data collection process from end to end
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Vizio, Word, Teams, PowerPoint). Experience working with Microsoft Azure is preferred, but not required.
  • Collaborate with front line, middle office, compliance and various other teams to assess implementation readiness of 1071
  • Assist in the coordination of reviews, and impact analysis of regulatory requirements and industry enforcement actions
  • Provide subject matter expertise on compliance and risk topics as assigned
Additional Qualifications:
  • Must be working toward Bachelor's or Master's degree in in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Business Information Systems, or other related field. An applicant with pre-law background with an intent to go into law school would also be applicable
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate and contribute within a team environment
  • Proven experience in implementing processes or process improvements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
