Position Summary

The Billing Specialist will collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to manage client billing processes effectively. The ideal candidate should be adaptable to various e-billing platforms and maintain confidentiality while ensuring timely and precise execution of tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creation of electronic Proformas
  • Modification and finalization of monthly Proformas
  • Invoice preparation, including fixed fee, split, and joint billing, as well as retainer replenishment
  • Engagement with attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Submission of electronic invoices through invoicing platforms, with follow-up on outstanding items
  • Responding to client inquiries regarding billing issues
  • Monitoring and tracking invoice distribution
  • Learning new software applications and contributing to the development of procedures
  • Generating month-end reports as required
  • Assisting with additional accounting tasks as necessary

  • Proficiency in Paperless Proforma and Ebilling Hub
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with ARCS and Crystal Reports is advantageous
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional billing experience in legal, accounting, or architectural fields
  • High School Diploma or GED

The selected candidate will be required to undergo a credit and background check as part of the employment process.
