Job Summary:

As a Nurse Coordinator at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Special Care Nursery and NICU units. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordinated nursing care to patients and their families, ensuring a safe and healing environment.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to nursing staff, promoting efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Acute care facility experience, preferably in NICU or Special Care Nursery.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice and relevant certifications (e.g., NRP, FHM, ACLS).
