Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Growth Strategist to drive revenue growth of our e-commerce channel. As a key member of our growth team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that maximize growth through customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Site Optimization & Conversion
    • Analyze and enhance website performance to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices, focusing on increasing conversion rates.
    • Gather feedback through surveys, user testing, and analytics to identify pain points and implement solutions that enhance the likelihood of conversion.
    • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure website design aligns with best practices in UX and UI, prioritizing features that facilitate smooth navigation and encourage conversions.
    • Develop and manage subscription offerings, analyze performance, and identify learnings to date, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Data Analysis, Testing & Reporting
    • Utilize analytics tools to track site performance metrics, customer behavior, and sales trends.
    • Interpret first-party data to translate customer insights into successful marketing programs that drive trial & repeat.
    • Analyze consumer browsing and shopping behavior data to develop and implement strategies to increase site traffic, conversion, and order values.
    • Regularly review and analyze competitor performance and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
    • Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and ratings to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies for enhancing consumer satisfaction and retention.
    • Build and update dashboards and regularly report on key metrics, trends, and opportunities for growth.
  • Tech Stack Management
    • Oversee the integration and management of the ecommerce tech stack, including Shopify apps for email and SMS marketing, subscription management, loyalty programs, and cross-selling tools.
    • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure that all technology solutions align with business goals and are functioning optimally.
    • Stay updated on the latest e-commerce technologies and tools, evaluating new solutions to enhance site functionality and performance.
  • Driving Organic Traffic
    • Develop and execute SEO strategies to maximize organic traffic to the ecommerce site, including keyword research and performance monitoring, on-page optimization, and content development.
    • Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality, engaging content that attracts and retains visitors while improving search engine rankings.
    • Implement remarketing efforts to re-engage past visitors and improve customer retention.
    • Monitor and analyze organic traffic metrics and keyword performance on an ongoing basis, making data-driven recommendations to enhance visibility and reach.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Lead all e-commerce project management, customization needs, and future enhancements of the e-commerce website.
    • Work closely with the Growth team to coordinate efforts across PR, social media, influencer, brand ambassador, and affiliate programs to generate high-value traffic to the site.
    • Communicate strategy and tactical updates to the team and stakeholders effectively.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in eCommerce.
    • Leverage professional networks to accelerate learning and inspire new tests.
    • Identify relevant capabilities, tools, partnerships, etc. that can unlock growth potential.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience driving sustained, profitable revenue growth of a B2C .com channel.
  • 7+ years of experience in ecommerce management.
  • Strong, broad understanding of the full digital marketing toolkit across channels.
  • Strong project management skills and technical understanding of system / integrations that support an e-commerce business.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth and innovation.
  • Proficient in Shopify and GA4, with strong skills in data analysis, A/B testing, UX/UI design knowledge.
