Position Overview:

The KYA Group, a leading specialty construction company, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support and execute a wide range of HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions for construction-related positions.
  • Conduct job postings, screen applicants, schedule interviews, and assist in the hiring process.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-conscious workplace culture.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Assist with audits and reporting for regulatory compliance.

Performance Management

  • Support the performance appraisal process.
  • Provide guidance to managers on handling performance issues.

Training & Development

  • Track required safety training and certifications.
  • Support career development initiatives and training programs.

Compensation & Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits programs.
  • Assist in market analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Support the company's safety program and compliance with OSHA regulations.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with construction industry labor laws and OSHA safety standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
