Human Resources Administrator

Role Description
This position will be responsible for partnering with leadership teams to develop and implement HR policies, programs, and processes. Key responsibilities include payroll processing, labor relations, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance across multiple states.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing for over 200 W2 and 1099 personnel in line with employment agreements and company policies
- Conduct thorough onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 verifications, background checks, benefits enrollment, and terminations
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal income reporting, tax payment, and labor laws
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including 401K and health insurance
- Foster strong relationships between management and employees through regular communication
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field with a minimum of three years of experience
- Familiarity with the behavioral health sector is an asset
- Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, HRIS systems, and relevant HR software, especially TriNet
- In-depth understanding of general employment and labor laws, state and federal, particularly in CA, VA, NC, TX, FL, NV, and WA
- Ability to develop strategic plans, adapt to changing environments, and analyze organizational performance
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, acting professionally, and adhering to high ethical standards
Compensation Package
- An attractive annual salary of $90,000
- A standard schedule of Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm PST in our Santa Ana HQ office
