Overview
The Project Controls Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the assigned Project Manager with various aspects of project management, including planning, financial oversight, and ensuring project completion while maintaining client satisfaction.

This position involves assisting the Project Manager in coordinating all contractual obligations, design development, and monitoring construction progress.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Controls
- Monthly Forecasting and Financial Analysis
- Cost Management (Budgeting, Commitments & Actuals)
- Job Cost Analysis including Variance Analysis
- Project Schedule Management
- Conducting Weekly Coordination Meetings
- Documenting Meeting Minutes and Generating Project Status Reports
- Preparing Job Cost Reports
- Verifying Subcontractor Payment Applications
- Processing Subcontractor Backcharges
- Contract Administration and Punch-List Management Support
- Warranty Review & Procurement
- Risk Management and Change Order Processing
- Prime Contract Payment Applications
- Formal Documentation of Notices to Owners and Subcontractors.

The Project Controls Analyst will also engage in developing and delivering training sessions on specific processes and practices to project team members, including Project Managers, Project Field Engineers, and Superintendents. Collaboration with the Project Field Engineer and Superintendent is essential regarding construction progress, subcontractor matters, permits, inspections, and field procurement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the engineering/construction sector
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Highly organized with a structured approach
- In-depth knowledge of standard accounting practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore Project Management software
- Experience with project scheduling tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera P6
- Document Control experience
- Willingness to travel or relocate
- Experience with projects exceeding $50 million
- Familiarity with Sage and Procore
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
