Insurance Sales Representative

New York Life Insurance Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying their insurance needs, and providing personalized solutions to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities- Research and provide financial advice and strategies to clients through educational meetings or seminars.
- Assess each client's potential life and financial needs to create an individualized financial plan.
- Use a CRM to organize each client's financial status, goals, cash flow, and monetary expectations for use in their individual financial plan.
- Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products.
- Leverage marketing and social media tools to identify, pursue, and secure new clients who can benefit from having a trusted financial service professional.
- Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims.
- Develop a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other marketing strategies to secure new business.
- Provide warm and professional customer service while onboarding new clients and maintaining existing clients, including booking appointments, inquiry response, insurance eligibility, claim submissions, questions concerning billing and insurance policies.
- Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date.
- Candidates with active investment licenses preferred.
- Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor's degree is desired.
- Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus.
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
