GENERAL FUNCTION

The primary objective of the Retail Operations Leader is to serve as a guiding force within the EssilorLuxottica framework. This role is pivotal in achieving key performance metrics by embodying the Brand Story and ensuring an exceptional customer journey.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Exhibits a strong dedication to delivering unparalleled Customer Service by ensuring that the LensCrafters team adheres to the Sales and Service Process.
  • Embraces the Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision in all interactions with customers and patients.
  • Provides hands-on training and mentorship to team members utilizing Company resources.
  • Evaluates store financial performance and proposes actionable strategies to enhance retail profitability.
  • Aims to achieve outstanding results in the following areas:
    • NPS - Net Promoter Score
    • % Sales to Plan
    • Customer Count
    • Store Operating Profitability
    • % Saturation of Training
    • Key Performance Indicators, including exam growth and retention
  • Identifies and recruits top-tier talent.
  • Projects staffing requirements through labor scheduling models.
  • Handles administrative responsibilities such as payroll, inventory oversight, and technical application.
  • Inspires associates to deliver a customer experience that surpasses expectations, as reflected in NPS feedback.
  • Collaborates with the Doctor of Optometry for business alignment and planning.
  • Follows Company policies regarding inventory management and acknowledges receipt of physical stock.
  • Implements the LC Inventory Management System and Order tracker in alignment with global POS standards.
  • Ensures adherence to safety protocols and consistently maintains compliance with Company standards.
  • Conducts regular safety assessments of store premises using a self-inspection checklist. Reports any interactions with regulatory agencies promptly.
  • Enhances Optometric partnerships through active participation in various initiatives.
  • Fosters a safe and enjoyable work environment for all associates and customers.
  • Takes pride in the store's presentation and executes visual directives to convey a cohesive company message.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of management or supervisory experience
  • Thorough understanding of operations, processes, and business implications
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Effective team-building and management skills
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Proficient in basic mathematics
  • Sales acumen
  • Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators
  • Ability to manage time effectively under pressure
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • College degree or equivalent
  • State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states
  • LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification
  • LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program
  • Prior experience in customer service and retail
  • Familiarity with current store merchandise
  • High level of business acumen, including detailed knowledge of LC Dashboard
Compensation is determined by various factors, including geographic location, experience, qualifications, and skills. Additionally, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be available, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package.
