As a Field Sales Merchandising Supervisor, you will oversee a team of sales representatives in the field, ensuring the effective implementation of sales strategies and the attainment of annual performance metrics and objectives for your designated region. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to achieve activation goals and to report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Your Contributions

In this role, you will:

Lead, develop, and inspire your team while partnering with the sales training team to ensure comprehensive training delivery. Formulate and oversee an annual business plan aimed at achieving channel revenue KPIs and targets, providing necessary reporting. Cultivate strong customer relationships that enable exceptional execution of our product categories. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including account management, category teams, activation teams, and customer finance, to optimize returns in your area. Deeply understand category insights and coach your team on utilizing category tools to engage and influence customers effectively.

Desired Skills

A successful candidate for the Retail Merchandising Supervisor role should excel in the following areas:

Actively engaging in the recruitment process for new team members through interviews. Overseeing the hiring process for Sales Service Representatives (SSRs). Ensuring new SSRs undergo a standardized onboarding and training process within set timelines. Providing on-the-job coaching and continuous development opportunities for SSRs. Utilizing performance management techniques to address and improve work practices among direct reports. Communicating priorities to the sales team and assisting SSRs in managing their time effectively. Ensuring all merchandising initiatives are executed correctly at the store level to support the merchandising strategy. Conducting annual performance evaluations for all direct reports. Timely approval of leave requests and communication with affected employees. Understanding employee benefits eligibility for both full-time and part-time staff. Collaborating with District Managers to uphold merchandising standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Flexibility in work schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays as needed. Previous experience in Retail, Sales, or Customer Service is advantageous. Successful completion of drug testing, motor vehicle record checks, and background checks. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment, including lifting and carrying items as specified. Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Internet, mobile devices).
