As a Retail Merchandising Lead, you will oversee a team of field sales representatives to ensure the execution of the sales strategy and the attainment of annual KPIs and objectives for a designated region. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate activation and provide comprehensive reporting against KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

Leading, developing, and inspiring the team while partnering with the sales capability team to deliver effective training Formulating and managing an annual business unit strategy to achieve agreed channel revenue KPIs and targets, along with necessary reporting Cultivating strong customer business relationships that enable exceptional execution of our product categories Collaborating with key stakeholders, including the account team, category management, activation team, sales capability, and customer finance, to optimize returns across your area Gaining a deep understanding of category insights and coaching the team in utilizing category tools to engage and influence customers for informed decision-making that drives category growth and fulfills our annual objectives

Desired Skills

A successful Retail Merchandising Lead should excel in the following areas:

Actively participating in the recruitment process for new hires through interviews Overseeing the selection process for all new Sales Service Representatives (SSRs) Ensuring new SSRs undergo a standardized onboarding and training process within set timelines Providing on-the-job coaching and continuous development for SSRs Utilizing performance management to address substandard work practices among direct reports Communicating sales priorities and assisting SSRs in prioritizing their tasks effectively Ensuring all merchandising activities are executed properly at the store level to support the merchandising strategy Conducting annual performance evaluations for all direct reports Timely approval of leave requests and communication with affected employees Understanding employee benefits for both full-time and part-time staff Collaborating with District Managers to uphold merchandising standards

Additional Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license Flexibility in work schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays as needed Previous experience in Retail, Sales, and/or Customer Service is advantageous Successful completion of drug tests, MVR checks, and background checks Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Internet, mobile devices)
