The Senior Technical Marketing Engineer RoleThis highly visible position plays a pivotal role within our product management team, driving technical strategy and customer adoption of Ericsson's solutions. Aiding our field sales and channel professionals along with partner organizations is critical, with the objective of helping teams build and scale their knowledge of Ericsson's Enterprise Wireless Solutions services, products, and technologies.
The Sr. TME will become a subject matter expert for future SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA 5G functionality in the NetCloud service, working closely with PM, R&D, SE, and sales account teams to assist in the customer journey and experience.
Main Responsibilities:- Reference Architectures: Create examples of networking topology utilizing NetCloud service features and functionality combined with best practices to support common customer use cases.
- Validated Designs: Develop customer guides closely aligned with Reference Architectures, guiding customers to best practice designs.
- Product Beta Programs: Participate in and help orchestrate beta programs, defining test criteria, customer qualification, and early customer engagements.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis in the categories of functionality, performance, and usability.
- Technical Presentations: Develop technical presentations used by Ericsson and partners to educate customers on our technology.
- Confidence to present new ideas to the team.
- Experience in a technical marketing role with a background in lean processes.
- Eight (8+) years of technical experience in enterprise networking and security sectors, including customer-facing responsibilities.
- Five (5+) years of technical marketing engineering experience in the tech industry.
- A strong understanding and background in networking and security technologies (L2/L3, SD-WAN, Firewall, L4-L7, IDS/IPS, SASE etc.).
- An understanding of Cloud technologies - AWS, Azure, VPC, etc.
- Ability to demonstrate confidence in networking architecture, engineering, operations, and security discussions.
As a key member of our team, you'll enjoy a $148,200 - $222,200 salary range, reflecting your skills, qualifications, and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match and immediate vesting.
In addition to our standard paid time off policy, you'll receive up to 40 days of paid time off per year, including 15 days of accrued annual vacation, 3 personal days, 7 paid holidays, 4 floating holidays, 10 sick days, and 1 volunteer day.
