The Clinical Care Coordinator oversees and organizes the provision of patient services within designated departments, taking charge of the formulation, advancement, and execution of relevant policies and procedures.

This role involves maintaining the operational integrity of the patient care unit in partnership with unit personnel and a multidisciplinary team. The Coordinator exhibits a thorough understanding of contemporary nursing practices and adheres to established standards of care within the profession.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates expertise in the application of social and physiological sciences as they pertain to modern nursing practices.
  • Exhibits knowledge of supervisory methodologies and effective management of service delivery or shifts.
  • Stays informed about current technologies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals utilized in patient care and treatment.
  • Assesses changes in patient conditions through direct evaluation and staff reports, implementing suitable nursing interventions as necessary.
  • Ensures that the unit operates effectively and responsively to the needs of patients and the community.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to staff in alignment with organizational and departmental objectives.
  • Fosters a positive work environment within the unit, establishing high performance standards.
  • Manages and justifies the fiscal plan (budget) for the patient care unit, monitoring patient expenses and operational costs, and providing necessary reports to nursing administration.
Qualifications:
*Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
