Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team in the Washington, DC area. The successful candidate will provide support to children in various settings, including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective management skills and techniques for an Early Childhood age level population
  • Plan and deliver lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives
  • Assess and evaluate student understanding and progress
  • Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment
  • Encourage active participation and interaction among students
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and behavior
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with educational trends and teaching methodologies
Requirements:
  • Commitment to the success of each and every student
  • Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Experience in writing and monitoring IEPs and communicating with families and service providers to support students
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process
  • Bachelor's degree in teaching (preferred)
