The Office Administration Supervisor at Boater's World Marine Centers is responsible for overseeing and directing the activities of our Front Desk staff across all locations.
This role is crucial in ensuring that the Front Desk team executes their responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency. The Front Desk staff serve as the initial point of contact for our organization, and their tasks encompass a range of administrative and clerical functions. Effective multitasking and the ability to manage stress are vital for success in this position. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends, is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Front Desk staff at all Boater's World Marine Centers locations
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of Front Desk personnel
- Compile and present reports on the performance metrics of the Front Desk team
- Facilitate training and development initiatives
- Collaborate with HR/Recruiting to interview and select candidates for all locations
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role, preferably within a Marine, Automotive, or RV dealership environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office machinery (e.g., fax machines, copiers, and printers)
- Experience in a dealership setting
- Exemplary professional demeanor and appearance
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Resourceful and proactive in addressing challenges
- Exceptional organizational skills, maintaining a polished and professional presence
