Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and create training materials tailored to meet the agency's operational needs.
- Design and implement training programs that align with business objectives, focusing on areas such as Employee Development, Unemployment Insurance, and Labor Market Information.
- Collaborate with division managers to assess training requirements and facilitate the creation of specialized training sessions.
- Deliver comprehensive training to new employees, particularly in Unemployment Insurance, covering essential laws, regulations, and proprietary software systems.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster partnerships with various stakeholders, including other state agencies and educational institutions, to enrich training offerings.
Work Environment:
This position is on-site, providing a collaborative atmosphere at the NDOL Administration Building.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of four years of experience in training, education, or curriculum development.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but may be substituted with equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems and various training technologies.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to analyze training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
