Position Overview:
We are in search of an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to be part of our innovative manufacturing division.

The ideal candidate will spearhead our quality assurance strategies, ensuring our production processes adhere to and surpass the highest quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, your responsibilities will include: 1. Designing, executing, and upholding quality assurance standards and methodologies for transforming raw materials into finished goods.

  • Conduct root cause investigations for manufacturing inconsistencies and product flaws, formulating corrective measures to avert future occurrences.
  • Guide and engage in the application of Lean Six Sigma and 8D problem-solving frameworks to refine manufacturing processes and promote ongoing enhancement.
  • Perform internal assessments to verify adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows, minimize waste, and elevate product quality.
  • Offer technical and quality guidance to junior engineers and the manufacturing workforce.
  • Utilize statistical methods to evaluate process performance, identify critical quality metrics, and highlight opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Oversee the evaluation of manufacturing and support process documentation to ensure compliance with corporate quality standards.
  • Educate manufacturing staff on quality assurance and process enhancement methodologies.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for the Lead Quality Assurance Engineer position, candidates must possess: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer capacity within a manufacturing setting.
  • Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting internal evaluations and leading corrective action processes.
  • Strong grasp of 8D problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
