About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilize AIDET principles to communicate effectively with patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Protect patients and staff by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Requirements
  • ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N) or Cert Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT) certification.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
