Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and development for HR and Safety staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Employee Relations and Engagement: Manage employee relations, training and development, compliance, policy development, and succession planning to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Strategic Partnership: Work with the management team as a strategic partner to lend HR expertise and best practices, driving business results and growth.
- Performance Management: Oversee safety, recruitment, performance management, payroll, compensation, and benefits, employee recognition, and metric tracking and analysis to measure department performance.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health, environmental, and safety practices and regulations, and manage workers' compensation claims and administration of safety programs.
- Organizational Development: Collaborate with HR and management team to evaluate staffing levels, employee utilization, and organizational efficiency, and develop processes and training to maintain a safe workplace.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrate strong business acumen and HR business partner skills, showing interest in the business and connecting HR initiatives with business needs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Possess excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds and all levels in the organization.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university, master's degree preferred.
- Certifications: SPHR, PHR certification preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive human resources experience driving HR strategy and organizational change, sourcing and developing key talent, and managing direct reports.
- Skills: Strong understanding of all functional HR disciplines, with specific strength in employee relations and organization development, and knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and OSHA regulations.

Mostly stationary work with occasional movement throughout the facility to access files, office machinery, etc. Works at a desk and a computer screen for extended periods of time. Use of hands to hold, lift, and handle materials. Seldom climbing, bending, and squatting. The noise level in the work environment is usually that of a typical office setting.
