Position Summary: We are in search of a seasoned Marketing Executive to spearhead our marketing endeavors and initiatives. This pivotal role requires a hands-on approach to stimulate growth and provide an exceptional digital, retail, and brand experience.
Industry Experience Required: Experience in cannabis marketing within the Florida market is essential.
The successful candidate will possess a strong focus on customer acquisition and retention, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the Florida cannabis landscape, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media, performance marketing (affiliate/email), and online advertising tools. Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee promotional activities utilizing Alpine IQ.
- Enhance in-store menus, displays, and activations.
- Develop promotional strategies aimed at boosting customer acquisition.
- Collaborate with key brand partners for in-store displays and demonstrations.
- Engage with community organizations to drive community relations initiatives.
- Lead event strategies and foster cross-business partnerships.
- Ensure brand integrity is maintained across all digital platforms.
- Drive the launch of proprietary products across various categories in-store.
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies focused on lead generation, customer acquisition, and sales.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance consumer awareness and engagement through diverse marketing channels (Social, Programmatic, SEO, SEM, and digital marketing campaigns).
- Create a strategic content plan and assets to support revenue-generating marketing activities.
- Manage all aspects of digital content and execution, ensuring alignment with the overall brand marketing message.
- Lead the strategy development and execution of performance marketing (paid/affiliate, email/customer engagement) to drive traffic, conversion, and sales.
- Analyze and report on testing outcomes and strategic adjustments to maximize revenue while delivering a premium brand experience.
- Provide updates and insights to senior leadership regarding team performance metrics, opportunities, and challenges.
Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of the Florida market and its regulatory environment.
- Extensive experience in growing direct-to-consumer brands.
- Proven track record in driving business through search, display, affiliate, mobile, programmatic, social, and email marketing.
- Creative self-starter with the ability to think innovatively and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Willingness to take initiative and contribute to all aspects of the role.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with a consumer-centric approach.
- High emotional intelligence with excellent verbal, written, and analytical abilities (data-driven mindset).
- Demonstrated project management skills and cross-functional collaboration.
- Adaptability to pivot strategies in response to the dynamic nature of the industry.
- Preferred educational background: BS/MS in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
