We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at JD Finish Line. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to employees and management by administering benefits programs, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Benefits Administration: Provide information on benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, to employees and dependents.
- HR Support: Answer and distribute calls from the HR Help Desk phone line to appropriate staff members, and respond to employee inquiries via email.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of employee enrollment, benefits, and other HR-related information.
- Communication: Prepare and distribute benefit-related documents, such as coverage enrollment and cancellation packets, to eligible employees.
- Enrollment and Audits: Enroll new employees in benefit plans, process status changes, and perform enrollment/coverage audits.
- Employee Support: Assist with benefit orientation, respond to employee inquiries, and provide support with benefits-related issues.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare and respond to court-ordered medical benefits forms, sort and distribute HR mail, and track requests and distribute tickets for company perks.
- Education: Associate's degree (A.S.) from a two-year college or university or equivalent experience and 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, as well as a basic understanding of functions and relationships of information in PeopleSoft/Oracle system.
The work environment for this position is a moderately noisy office setting. The average work week is 35-40 hours, which can vary depending on business need.
