Job Title: Environmental Geologist III

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Geologist III to join our team at Calista Brice Holding Company. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' environmental needs.

Job Summary:

The Environmental Geologist III will be responsible for conducting site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups in accordance with state and federal regulatory guidelines. You will work closely with our project management staff to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups in accordance with state and federal regulatory guidelines.
  • Work with environmental technicians and other technical staff to collect and analyze data.
  • Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites.
  • Provide scientific and technical guidance to project staff.
  • Review and document environmental permits, plans, reports, licenses, and other requirements.
  • Prepare charts and graphs from data samples.
  • Determine data collection methods for site surveys and investigations.
  • Participate in creating an effective team dynamic.
  • Provide technical QC of documentation.
  • Lead a proactive safety culture.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Physical or Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Five to fifteen years of experience working on environmental projects.
  • Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Valid state driver's license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of our Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass drug and background screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in federal government projects.
  • PG or PE preferred.
  • 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations certificate preferred.
  • Hazardous Waste Operation and Emergency Response training with current 8-hour refresher preferred.
  • Experience with Health and Safety functions a plus.
