Director of Manufacturing & Production Operations

Raizan Solutions LLC is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our client's culinary production operations in Brooklyn, NY. As Director of Manufacturing & Production Operations, you will oversee the production process, manage a team of approximately 80 union employees, and work closely with internal managers to drive quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Operations Management: Lead food production operations across 14+ facilities, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Implement efficient production processes that scale while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee kitchen facilities, equipment, and storage areas, coordinating maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Client Interaction & Future Planning: Serve as the primary contact for client interactions, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Union Employee Management: Navigate labor relations, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in large-scale food manufacturing, preferably in healthcare or institutional settings.
  • Expertise in menu development and food service operations.
  • Strong facilities management skills, including knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional client interaction skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving cost-saving initiatives.
  • Experience working with unionized labor and navigating labor relations.
