Job Summary:

The Metrology Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing precision measurement solutions to ensure the quality and accuracy of manufactured products. This role requires a strong understanding of metrology principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop CMM programs and vision system programs to measure and inspect parts and products.
  • Develop and implement fixturing and gauges to ensure accurate and repeatable measurements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve measurement-related issues and improve product quality.
  • Perform dimensional first article inspections and capability studies to ensure product quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain measurement standards and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or physics.
  • Strong understanding of metrology principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
