Job Summary:

The Metrology Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing precision measurement systems and processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CMM programs and vision system programs to ensure accurate measurement and inspection of parts.

• Design and develop gauges and fixturing to support precision measurement and inspection.

• Collaborate with the engineering department to reverse engineer and develop new measurement systems and processes.

• Conduct dimensional first article inspections and perform capability studies to ensure product quality and accuracy.

• Perform physical testing and report findings to ensure product quality and accuracy.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree preferred.

• General knowledge of injection molding and manufacturing operations.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer experience.

• Advanced blueprint reading skills.

• Knowledge of advanced measuring techniques.
