Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Real Estate and Facilities to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management of our real estate portfolio and facilities operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the management of our real estate portfolio, including acquisitions, relocations, and new developments.
  • Supervise and coordinate the negotiation of real estate deals and acquisitions, ensuring optimal results for the organization.
  • Serve as liaison to private physician and commercial tenants, building and maintaining relationships to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to prepare and submit annual department operational budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission requirements and work with colleagues to achieve accreditation goals.
Requirements
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Real Estate, Construction, Property Management, or Architecture.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Required: 7 years of experience in Real Estate, Business, Facilities/Property Management, and/or Legal.
