Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Dancing Bear Residences. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residences, common areas, and back-of-house facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and systems to ensure the safety and functionality of our facilities.
  2. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our facilities are well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of our residents and staff.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including housekeeping, bell staff, and front desk, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks.
  5. Adherence to Safety Protocols: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to OSHA safety requirements and protocols, and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
Requirements
  1. Previous Maintenance Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance and/or building operations, with a strong background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and landscaping.
  2. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying weather conditions, and perform tasks that require heavy lifting and mobility.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
  4. Certifications and Licenses: Possession of a valid Colorado driver's license and CPO license (obtained within the first six months of employment if not already licensed).
