Role Summary:
In this position, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of engineering projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing methods and workflows. Collaborating closely with teams in Operations, Design Engineering, and Automation Engineering, you will spearhead initiatives that focus on improving efficiency, minimizing costs, enhancing product quality, and boosting productivity while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage actively on the factory floor, dedicating approximately 80% of your time to identifying issues and implementing immediate solutions.
  • Align operational processes, metrics, standards, and initiatives with a strong focus on safety, delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Employ analytical problem-solving techniques to devise cost-effective solutions for operational challenges.
  • Manage installation and process enhancement projects, driving advancements in productivity and technology.
  • Ensure project assignments are completed within the defined scope, budget, and timeline, utilizing critical thinking to achieve operational excellence.
  • Take ownership of developing business plans, addressing challenges, and managing project activities.
  • Identify optimal value through both short-term and long-term solutions.
  • Effectively communicate technical information and create accessible documentation.
  • Handle multiple priorities efficiently to achieve results and promote continuous improvement.
  • Assess complex decisions and educate others to gain alignment through effective communication.
  • Build strategic partnerships across internal teams to uncover improvement opportunities and collaborate on solutions.
  • Provide data-driven insights to influence business strategies and facilitate impactful decisions.
  • Establish performance metrics and reporting systems to enhance throughput, productivity, and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to innovate tools and processes that improve operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with automated manufacturing systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated initiative and adaptability in dynamic environments, with the ability to influence peers and drive results.
