We are currently seeking a Cloud Solutions Sales Engineer to provide technical leadership and business insights to our channel partner community across North America. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving partner enablement objectives by driving innovative technical initiatives and managing daily technical account activities. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting, positioning, and architecting solutions for channel partners within your designated region or technology area. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Cloud technologies and familiarity with modern data center solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to devise and execute targeted industry and account penetration strategies, create account-specific product and sales enablement plans, and drive leads from identification to successful sale completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to channel partners and sales personnel during pre-sales activities on behalf of Arrow's cloud suppliers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Lead the discovery, analysis, design, demonstration, and refinement of comprehensive technology solutions.
  • Exhibit technical leadership and expertise in Cloud architectures and offerings relevant to the modern data center.
  • Act as a technical consultant to develop and propose solutions that align with the technology and business needs of assigned channel partners and their end users.
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to the technical and sales teams of channel partners.
  • Collaborate with Arrow marketing teams to create and distribute digital channel-ready technical content across Arrow's social media platforms.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to channel partners and as an internal resource on technical strategies or specific business applications within an assigned market segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Arrow account teams, partners, and end users to support sales objectives, leveraging Arrow's resources, capabilities, budgets, and personnel as necessary.
  • Lead Cloud technical sales discussions with and on behalf of channel partners.
  • Assess Cloud sales opportunities based on end customer technical requirements, competitive landscape, decision-making processes, and funding in collaboration with Arrow channel partners.

Work Arrangement:

  • Fully Remote: Must be available to travel to an Arrow office location as required by Arrow leadership.

Qualifications:

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a 4-year degree; or 6 years with an advanced degree; or equivalent experience. Certifications related to Cloud data or AI, particularly Microsoft Associate or Expert certifications, are advantageous (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure Data Scientist Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, or similar).

  • Proficient in conducting effective group presentations and/or training sessions.
