Position Overview:
The Logistics Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of designated Drivers, ensuring efficient and effective transportation operations.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
  • Work Schedule: Primarily evening and overnight shifts.
  • Comprehensive benefits from day one, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as FSA/HSA options and company-sponsored life insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with annual employer contributions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure safe, timely, and precise deliveries to clients by leveraging a solid understanding of multi-stop routing systems and dispatch protocols.
  • Monitor driver logs, service hours, and other DOT regulations to guarantee adherence to all applicable state, local, and federal laws.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the distribution center to facilitate accurate and prompt deliveries.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned, including special projects at the discretion of the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in transportation management within the food distribution sector.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations is essential.
  • Experience with JDE, PeopleNet, TMS, and Lytx DriveCam is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in truck routing software is preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible and varied schedule.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required.
Candidates may undergo a background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable regulations.
