Responsibilities
Express is in search of a Retail Operations Supervisor.

The Retail Operations Supervisor supports the Store Manager in overseeing store functions, including recruitment, management, training, and sales activities, while enhancing productivity, adhering to company policies, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in cultivating, motivating, and retaining top talent.

• Foster a positive workplace atmosphere that promotes high morale and teamwork.

• Mentor and train Sales Associates to enhance job performance.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and nurture high-performing Sales Associates.

• Participate in the hiring process for Sales Associates by providing input during interviews.

• Aid the Store Manager in analyzing business performance and executing clear action plans to optimize results.

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Implement strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adequate sales floor coverage to meet customer needs.
• Manage merchandise flow, including shipments and replenishment.
• Uphold company policies and ensure a safe environment for both associates and customers.
• Drive the execution of store strategies to meet performance targets.
• Lead associates in implementing merchandising strategies and operational initiatives.
• Promote a store culture focused on delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Engage with customers proactively, providing information on products and promotions.
• Address customer complaints effectively, identifying issues and resolving them promptly.

• Act as the leader in customer experience, accountable for performance outcomes and developing action plans for improvement.

• Create a visually appealing in-store environment.


Required Experience & Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in retail.
• Proficient in technology use (iPads, registers).
• Strong customer service capabilities.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role.

Critical Skills & Attributes
• Previous retail experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of driving sales performance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in sales management is advantageous.
