**Residential Customer Service Specialist Opportunity**

**Job Summary**

Carson Oil Company is seeking a highly skilled Residential Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Portland. As a key member of our Service department, you will be responsible for effectively managing large volumes of incoming customer calls, resolving customer inquiries, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage customer calls, taking orders and resolving inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to resolve issues and achieve high satisfaction levels.
  • Manage administrative processes related to our Service department, including internal systems and resources.
  • Support marketing efforts through research and implementation of requested projects.
  • Formulate sales proposals and marketing materials to be sent to potential customers.
  • Follow up on sales, credit processes, and general questions or concerns.
  • Maintain and provide exceptional service to our current and potential clients.

**Requirements**

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in a related company sector.
  • Understanding of dispatching and communication with field personnel.
  • Positive mindset and willingness to help where needed.
  • Ability to learn client-based systems and software.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, along with highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Good prioritization of tasks and ability to function with frequent interruptions.
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Work Environment/Physical Requirements**

Majority of work conducted in an office environment. May be required to drive in inclement weather. Work involves moving boxes and employee must lift, bend, stoop, pick up, and move objects up to 25 lbs. Work schedule will vary and may include work on evenings, weekends, and holidays due to special events, inclement weather, and other projects.
