This role is responsible for assisting in the supervision and administration of food and beverage activities at outlets assigned at the Hershey Lodge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support guest service and hospitality standards proactively.
  • Ensure the correct service techniques are consistently demonstrated by all staff.
  • Control reservations and seating of the restaurant to ensure service standards are maintained (where applicable), as well as the use of the reservation system.
  • Coordinate food and beverage training, including regular reviews and updates of standards.
  • Train, coach, motivate, and support staff.
  • Cross train and support other F&B outlets as needed.
  • Ensure proper cash control procedures are followed daily.
  • Complete inventories as needed or scheduled.
  • Order and maintain par levels of product inventory.
  • Ensure the work and service areas are clean and organized.
  • Maintain all safety, health, and sanitation standards.
  • Coordinate with support departments as needed.
  • Understand all F&B items offered (including ingredients, allergens, methods of preparation, and proper service).

Requirements:

  • Prior food and beverage supervisory experience is required.
  • ~18 years of age or older.
  • Effective application of the training is required.
  • Fluency in restaurant beverage management, product knowledge, and bar operations is essential.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge and use of service, labor, and cost controls in F&B a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team-building, motivating, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to speak and read the English language.
  • ~ Schedule will vary according to operating needs, but will include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
