Rail Yard Operator

Pacific Rail Services is seeking a skilled Rail Yard Operator to join our team. As a Rail Yard Operator, you will be responsible for operating a jockey truck, maneuvering 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard. You will also engage in various ground duties, including climbing on and off railcars, securing tracks, and handling inner box connectors (IBCs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a jockey truck to move trailers, containers, and chassis around the rail yard.
• Engage in ground duties, including climbing on and off railcars, securing tracks, and handling IBCs.
• Assist crane operators with equipment loading and unloading using hand signals.
• Stack and unstack chassis, as well as load and unload chassis racks.
• Fulfill other assigned duties in a dynamic and team-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

• No prior railroad experience is required.
• Minimum age of 18 with a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of a 7-year background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test and a Physical Capabilities Test.
